BioI am an attorney in Houston, Texas. I am married to a doctor and have five furry four-legged children: a cat, two Golden Retrievers, a Yorkie, and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
I joined LiveJournal because I have an older brother who was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome in 1989. He is now 36, and recently I have tried to find other people 35 and older who have siblings with autistic spectrum disorders. Thus far, I have not had much luck either online or in the real world.
I am also half-Asian (Chinese and Indian) and half-white. I have already accepted that the odds of my finding another half-Asian, half-white person with an older autistic sibling is about as likely as pigs flying. But you never know...
